Ford is expected to revamp the popular Mustang with a progressive front and rear face-lift for the 2009 model year. In addition, the GT version will be tweaked, with its output going up to the 350 horsepower range. So far, Ford hasn't commented on the 2009 model, but rumors have been widely circulating. They include speculation that a retractable hardtop may be offered. At this time, all we can offer is this illustration of what our artist thinks is the direction Ford is taking with the 2009 face-lift. He just may be on target.
