We Have a Date... and it is going to be a Surprise!

Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum

For the past couple of weeks, we have been discussing with the building team when the Museum will be completed.

Unfortunately, the answer depends on several factors, especially the weather. The time frame of the Museum's completion is between late October to early December of this year.

When you add the 2-3 months to complete the interior, the Museum could be open between January to March of 2019.

After several internal discussions, and discussions with Museum advisors, we have decided it will be best to hold the Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum on the 55th Anniversary of the Mustang, April 17, 2019.

Of course, we can't have a Museum opening without a party, so the Mustang Owner's Museum Grand Opening will be April 17-20, 2019.

Now for the big surprise, the Museum will also be hosting the "55 Years of Mustang" event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway on April 17-20, 2019!!!

Only one registration is needed to attend two of the biggest Mustang events for 2019. Your registration includes credentials to attend both the Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum and the 55 Years of Mustang at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Mustang World can now celebrate "55 Years of Mustang" at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum at the same time.

The "55 Years of Mustang" event will include open track, exhibits, vendors, seminars, parade laps, with all Mustangs parking inside Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum will offer attendees their first look into something that has been missing from the Mustang Hobby- a Museum dedicated to the Mustang.

The event will include a Welcome Party, the induction of the Museum's Hall of Fame members, and a Saturday Night Banquet with guest speakers.

On the evening of April 18th, 2019, we will also attempt to break the Guinness World Record for a Mustang Parade, which is currently held in Mexico. We have had a couple of unsuccessful attempts at recent events, but with the 55 Years of Mustang event and the Grand Opening of the Mustang Owner's Museum we hope to shatter the record. It appears we can set the record using existing roads inside the Charlotte Motor Speedway-so weather will not be factor.

We are excited to host these two events in 2019 for the Mustang community. By planning the Grand Opening of the Mustang Owners Museum and the "55 Years of Mustang" Event, we hope to create a once in a lifetime experience for everyone within the Mustang Hobby.
